Confidence to Smile Again
“For many years I have had partial dentures due to an automobile accident. I was complaining to Dr. at one of my check-ups and he told me about dental implants. Every ten or so years I have had to replace my partials and it was getting expensive. So I decided to pursue the dental implants. It cost me a bit more than partials, but they are Worth It! I feel more confident in my speech and I can smile again. I love the way they are custom fit to me and they feel like my natural teeth. Plus, I know they are long lasting and I won’t have to keep replacing them. The staff was so great. They worked with me to make my implants very affordable with their payment options. Thank you!”

50 Years of Implant Technology
Half a century ago, Per-Ingvar Branemark , a Swedish scientist, developed dental implants. He felt that patients needed to secure loose fitting dentures. Since then, modern dentists have used implant technology to not only anchor dentures, but also to replace lost or missing teeth with individual tooth implants. Dental implants are a great way to restore your bite, and with a healthy jaw bone and gums, implants can replace the necessity for dentures and dental bridges. All Implants are NOT Created Equal
There are several types of dental implants, three of which are: Endosseous, Subperiosteal and Transosteal. The endosseous (within the bone) are the most common and are usually shaped like a screw and are made of titanium. Subperiosteal (on top of the bone) consist of a metal framework that attaches to the top of your jawbone, but under the gums. Transosteal (through the bone) are a U-shaped frame or metal pin that passes through the jawbone and gum tissue. We will discuss these options and help you choose the one most suitable, determined by type and structure of bone available at the insertion site (bone grafting is available). What Can I Expect From a Dental Implant Procedure?
You will start by having an implant placement, which is a titanium post precisely inserted into your jaw bone. It is so compatible with your body, osseointegration will take place. This is where your bone and the post will grow together (acting like a tooth root) producing a strong and durable area for your custom fitted crown. An abutment is then placed into the titanium peg and an impression of your mouth is taken and sent to a lab where your porcelain crown is produced. When finished, the crown is bonded to the abutment and you will have restored oral health.
